About This Interview…

So, you asked for it and you got it: almost a full hour of face-to-face talk with a small audience in Holland… and in ENGLISH! I published Armin van Buuren’s video excerpts in the past week, but this is really an epic conversation/interview in front of EDM artists from around the globe. Sure, trance is not for everyone, but Electronic Dance Music is extremely diverse, while trance has a major role in the industry (and I think always will). I personally grew up to appreciate EDM by listening (almost exclusively) to tracks of two artists – Armin van Buuren and Tiesto. Forgive me if trance isn’t your passion, but neither is Tiesto’s anymore, by the way… Did you know that he officially “gave up” trance because he thought it was boring?. Granted, Armin never will give up his passion, in my opinion, and that makes him a good source of views upon the EDM industry – perhaps not the most objective one, but a very good and earnest one, because Armin’s story is a story of success: and his success “happened” because he was passionate about one thing and one thing only – trance.
